Since I'm hosting my own email address and website, I have to do a little bit of email address scrambling in order to make sure spammers don't have a go at my address. It's incredibly simple though, all you need to do is click three times. Why three times, you may ask? Web crawlers may execute the JavaScript and renavigate the DOM tree and get my email address that way. Second, it makes sure you're wanting to contact me, and it's not too many times so as to be cumbersome. Third, I could just use a captcha, but to be quite frank, it's a horrendous system and I don't trust it one bit (not to mention the general idea of having the entirety of one's site's functionality be dependent on an external service). Finally, everyone loves the rule of three.
